Have you noticed citations highlighted in blue in HeinOnline? This is our ScholarCheck tool at work! In addition to providing cited-by numbers for articles, cases, authors, and more, ScholarCheck enables users to quickly jump between related documents by highlighting various citations and external hyperlinks throughout HeinOnline.

When browsing a title in HeinOnline, the ScholarCheck tool looks for all citations in the text of the page that you are viewing and highlight the citations in blue. If the cited material is available in HeinOnline, the citation will contain a direct link to the page allowing you to jump to the cited material with the click of your mouse. If an article cites a case, the case citation will also be highlighted in blue and will link to the case in either HeinOnline or Fastcase.

For example, from within volume 88, page 370 in the Indiana Law Journal, there are citations to Supreme Court Cases, U.S. Reports, and another law journal article. The articles and cases cited are available in HeinOnline, so you can click on any of the citations and link directly to the cited page:
