It’s that time of the year again! Fall is around the corner, pumpkin lattes have made an early comeback, and everyone is returning to school. We’re here for all your back-to-school needs and we’re delighted to share our content news with you.

World Constitutions Illustrated had a significant update, including 90 new titles across 21 countries. Our newest database, Democracy in America, was recently released. Don’t forget to take advantage of early-bird pricing, ending October 1st for an affordable one-time payment! We also recently finished indexing Arkansas session laws back to inception. And, in case you missed it, we revealed more Secrets of the Serial Set, featuring the Panama Canal.

We will soon be releasing another new database, Business and Legal Aspects of Sports and Entertainment (BLASE), so keep your eyes peeled! This new database was designed to assist researchers in locating sources relevant to many issues surrounding these critically important subject areas, both of which have now attained global prominence.

Major Database Updates

The Law Journal Library has grown with the inclusion of 14 new journals. Legal Classics continues to climb with an addition of nearly 300 titles. We also added more than 275 congressional hearings and 300 Congressional Research Service reports to the U.S. Congressional Documents database. The Serial Set grew by nearly 250,000 pages and 400 volumes. Don’t forget to check out the 31 new titles added to Religion and the Law.

Balkan Social Science Review

Balkan Social Science Review (BSSR) was established on behalf of the Faculty of Law in the University “Goce Delcev” in Stip, Republic of Macedonia. It is designed to encourage interest in all matters relating to law, political sciences, and sociology seen in the context of the Balkan. It places an emphasis on matters of theory and on broad issues arising from the relationship of wider social science disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary approach in areas of relevance.

Forensic Sciences Research

As a peer-reviewed journal of the Academy of Forensic Science (AFS), Forensic Sciences Research publishes the latest research in its various disciplines. It aims to promote forensic sciences through quality research articles, reviews, case reports, and letters to editors.

GSI Articletter
Vols. 2-21 (2011-2019)

GSI Articletter is a biannual law journal that covers a wide range of legal issues in Turkey, with a particular focus on the areas of relevance to corporate governance, commerce, investment and IT. It has been published for the last nine years in 21 volumes, as the sole production of Goksu Safi Isik (GSI) members, to update the readers with the most recent developments in legislation changes and to provide commentaries on current practices and cases.

The Green Bag: An Entertaining Journal of Law (second series) is a quarterly legal journal dedicated to publishing “good writing” about the law. It was established in 1997 by three former classmates at the University of Chicago Law School (Ross Davies, David Gossett, and Montgomery Kosma). While calling itself an “entertaining” journal, it is not strictly a journal of humor and unserious work. Rather, The Green Bag aims to publish articles that are brief, readable, and meant to provoke discussion.

Journal of African Administration

This journal was produced by the African Studies Branch as an authoritative quarterly of high technical level for the recording and discussion of information on African administration. The aim of the journal was to record developments, experiments, and experience in the field of practical African administration. Its goal was to discuss problems and developments in articles by practical administrators and to provide a link between research and administration by reviewing or summarising the conclusions of research work on relevant subjects.

Nebraska Law Review Bulletin

The Nebraska Law Review Bulletin is an online component of the Nebraska Law Review. It includes shorter submissions as an alternative to what is published in the printed version of the ReviewIt also includes “White Papers,” less formal than a traditional law review article or note, which allows authors to publish their piece in a shorter amount of time.

Revista Juridica de Castilla y Leon is a journal that reflects on all the major legal issues of the moment, with special attention to the administrative and autonomous community law. It gathers studies, works, and investigations of a legal nature, with the aim of enabling the existence of an instrument at the effective and immediate service of the legal operators.

Sedona Conference Journal
Vols. 1-19 (2000-2018)

The Sedona Conference Journal is an annual compilation of new Working Group commentaries and the best-written materials prepared for the conferences over the past year, along with the occasional epilogue or update from the authors. The goal of the journal is to stimulate the development of law and policy in critical areas with the discussions generated during the conferences.

Vox Juris

Vox Juris is a journal of the Faculty of Law of the University of San Martin de Porres, which publishes scientific articles and research related to the academic field of Science and Philosophy of Law and its related disciplines. Its aim is to disseminate specialized knowledge on topics of interest and topicality, especially ethical issues of legal social interest for the scientific, academic, university and institutional, national and international community.

Wayne State University Journal of Business Law
Vols. 1-2 (2018-2019)

Established in 2017, the Wayne State University Journal of Business Law is a scholarly peer-reviewed journal operated and edited by students at the Wayne State University Law School. The journal is published annually and provides a forum for student interests and scholarship in the field of business law. Volumes contain articles contributed by law professors and practicing attorneys, along with student notes and comments on topics including corporate governance, securities regulation and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, tax law, venture capitalism, bankruptcy, and commercial law, among others.
