New Journals Added to HeinOnline: August 2021

With the August content release, we added six new journals, all of which are active serials. Keep reading to learn all about these new journals, as well as the nearly 200 volumes we added to the Law Journal Library this month.

Drepturile Omului / Human Rights

1991-2021
Published by Romanian Institute for Human Rights (RIHR)

Drepturile Omului / Human Rights Journal is a bi annual scientific journal that aims to publish studies, research, and articles in the fields of human rights and fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as articles presenting and interpreting national, regional or international regulations. It also includes analyses of case law of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Research and analyses are presented by experts and representatives of academia that tackle fundamental human rights issues, focusing on the relationship between rights and principles, rules and standards of international institutions and mechanisms, or various terminological, conceptual and methodological aspects from this field of research.


German-Georgian Journal of Comparative Law

Published by Tinatin Tsereteli Institute of State and Law

This is a periodical published by German and Georgian scholars with the aim of dealing with current problems of Georgian law in a comparative legal sense. The German-Georgian Journal of Comparative Law is a forum for teaching and science, in which, in addition to traditional rubrics, special sections are devoted to the solution of cases and the case notes. The magazine appears monthly in both German and Georgian languages.

The Puerto Rican Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, corresponding to the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of Spain, aims to promote research and practice of law and its auxiliary sciences, and must also contribute to the reforms and progress of Puerto Rican legislation.


RSIL Law Review

RSIL Law Review was formed in 1993 in Pakistan under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and today is the largest legal think-tank in Pakistan. The Society’s highly qualified research staff, based in offices in Islamabad and Lahore, possess a broad spectrum of specializations in both international and domestic law. This enables the organization to undertake ground-breaking research aimed at innovative yet contextualized legal solutions for Pakistan.


Ukrainian Journal of International Law

Founded in 1992, the Ukrainian Journal of International Law is published quarterly and covers current issues of international legal theory and practice. Other issues, relevant to Ukrainian and foreign law and law enforcement events may be covered in special issues of the Journal. The Journal deals with the current state of science and practice of international law in Ukraine, foreign policy of the state, and all aspects of the domestic life pertaining to international relations and law, including current aspects of the state of the world community.


Major Title Update

With the August content release, we added volumes 105-300 of Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science! What’s more, any subject-specific book titles will be added to relevant HeinOnline databases.
