We Celebrated a Major Milestone (And Our Birthday!)

This month HeinOnline turned 22 (in 2022)! Not only was it our birthday, but we had another reason to celebrate: we surpassed more than 200 million pages. It’s a pretty big accomplishment, and we couldn’t have done it without you. That’s why we’re giving away a $500 Visa® gift card to one lucky winner. There’s still one day left to enter our contest!

We Added More Articles to Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals

This month, nearly 700 newly indexed articles and 100 indexed essay collections were added to HeinOnline’s Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP) database with the addition of issue 2021:08. This database is the preeminent multilingual index to articles and book reviews appearing in nearly 600 legal journals published worldwide. Learn more about this database here.

Coming Soon: A current awareness tool for IFLP. Stay tuned to the HeinOnline Blog for more details in the upcoming weeks!

We Unveiled Another Gem in the Serial Set

This month’s Secrets of the Serial Set explores the Lincoln-Douglas debates, which became public attractions that drew crowds of thousands of people and helped shape politics for decades to come.

We Discussed the Threat of Roe v. Wade Being Overturned

In an unprecedented leak from the U.S. Supreme Court, Politico released a draft of Justice Samuel Alito’s majority opinion that would rescind Roe v. Wade, ending 50 years of abortion protection at the federal level. We used various HeinOnline databases to explore what could happen if Roe v. Wade is overturned, and where the SCOTUS justices side on this ruling.
