Picture this: you’re standing at the top of the escalator, the buzz of the conference echoing around you, anticipation building as you get closer and closer to the opening doors of the exhibit hall. As you descend, the hum of conversation grows louder, mingling with the faint sounds of laughter. And then, you walk through the doors ready to kick off the AALL 2024 Annual Meeting, only to be welcomed by the bright lights of the HeinOnline booth and the smiling faces of the Hein team.

Despite global airline disruptions caused by Crowdstrike’s cyber outage on the first day of travel, the conference saw a record attendance of over 1,800 participants. This year’s theme at the Hein booth was “Dropping Knowledge,” which complemented our Plinko game, where attendees could play to win Hein swag after attending a demo. Join us as we rewind and recap a conference surrounded by lively discussions, and everything that was covered at our booth this year.

Booth Fun
This year we came with lots of fun giveaways and games to play. However, the real star of the show (no, it wasn’t Steve Roses), was the coveted Hein Hippo.
BINGO: Thanks to our friends at the American Bar Association, Brill | Nijhoff, Cassidy Cataloguing, Courtroom Insight, Edward Elgar Publishing, and the National Society for Legal Technology, we were able to host HeinOnline & Friends BINGO. Attendees played a coverall BINGO game where they had to receive a stamp at each vendor’s booth by asking their reps what was new in the last year. At the end of the conference, we drew one lucky winner, Kathy Ly, who received a $1,000 Visa gift card. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Prize Drop Game: This year we hosted a prize drop game. If you attended a demo, you were eligible to play our prize drop game with prizes including t-shirts, a stuffed Hein Hippo, or a chance to win our grand prize giveaway: a Meta Quest 3 Virtual Reality headset. Congratulations to the grand prize winners, Ismael Gullon and Paul Moorman!
