Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed holiday celebrations with friends and family, along with time for relaxation and reflection. We’re pleased to share our first newsletter of 2019 with you.
The Law Journal Library continues to grow with the addition of 10 new journals this month and will continue to grow with the forthcoming addition of thirteen new titles from John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A new issue (2018:2) of Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals is now available, which includes two special collections within the issue. Additionally, more than 130 titles were added to the Legal Classics Library, more than 50 titles were added to Taxation & Economic Reform in America Parts I & II, and 45 new titles were added to World Constitutions Illustrated. Altogether, more than 1,000 titles have been added to various databases in HeinOnline, which are noted in this month’s content release.
The third update to the Serial Set is now available, which includes more than 320 volumes and 329,000 pages of content! More than 86% of the Serial Set is currently available in HeinOnline or via HathiTrust Digital Library.
We’re pleased to inform Cataloging Legal Literature subscribers that the newest database revision has been completed in HeinOnline. Included are an explanation of the infrequency of online updates due to the April 2017 “freezing” of the RDA Toolkit and the 3R Project, corrections, and amended topics covered in various cataloging resources.
We are always increasing the value of a HeinOnline subscription, and are pleased to announce that we will be expanded our existing agreement with John Wiley & Sons, Inc.! HeinOnline currently has eight Wiley journals available and will be expanding the relationship to include an additional 13 titles. These titles will be added at no added cost and are expected to be available within the next couple of months.
Cases and Materials on U.S. Law and National Security, Fourth Edition by Ron Sievert is now available. This title is the only resource available with a focus on real world and concrete problems confronted daily by agents and attorneys handling national security cases.
Regulation of the Funeral Services Industry: A Legal Research Guide by Tanya D. Marsh is also now available. This is the first and only resource to break down the complex regulatory framework of the funeral services industry and is perfect for attorneys, professors, and students researching the fundamentals of law governing of this industry.
A new video is now available featuring Susan Nevelow Mart, Professor and Director of the Law Library at University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, CO.

If your library is in possession of this type of material and is willing to donate to us for digitization, please contact Chris Czopp at 716-882-2600. Please note: we would prefer to be able to unbind the material for scanning and would provide electronic copies (PDFs) and/or credit in return.
Additionally, a new section is available which contains a list of available and missing volumes of the U.S. Congressional Serial Set in HeinOnline.
