Additional Information: The volume "Lithuanian Law: Substantial Changes" prepared by researchers of Mykolas Romeris School of Law has been running for four years. At the end of 2018, the scientific study "Lithuanian Law 1918-2018: Century Experience and Perspectives" was published, prepared by law researchers at Mykolas Romeris University in cooperation with other Lithuanian higher education institutions. The aim of the collection of scientific articles "Lithuanian Law: Substantial Changes" is to evaluate the significant selected legal events in Lithuanian law. Every year, Lithuanian law is supplemented by many new laws and other legal acts, their amendments and supplements, case law and changes in legal institutions. We hope that the academic assessment of the new significant legal regulation and practice that emerged in the respective year, the forecasting of their impact on the protection of human rights and freedoms, various areas of society and state life, will benefit not only the legal community, but also the Government and other legislative entities, politicians, employees of various state institutions, as well as anyone interested in the development and improvement of Lithuanian law. The volumes are peer-edited.
