Additional Information: The Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law (CJICL) debuted in the winter of 1992 as the New Europe Law Review. New Europe was unique among international law journals - it was created as a vehicle to analyze the wide-sweeping legal, political, and social changes that were transforming Europe. In order to broaden the focus of the journal to deal with changes in the international arena outside of Europe, the name of the journal was changed in the fall of 1995 to the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law.

The Journal publishes scholarly articles, comments, and student notes on various topics relating to international and comparative law, including foreign policy and national security. The Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law is committed to advancing scholarship of the highest quality and invites contributions from professors, practitioners, legislators, judges, and members of the Journal.
