Additional Information: The mission of the Environment, Law and Society Journal (ELSJ) is to facilitate academic research in the field of environmental law through the publication of quality literary scholarship on the subject. We operate as an initiative of the Centre for Environment and Law (CEL), chaired by Dr M C Valson. CEL is a specialized research center under the aegis of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS). NUALS is one of India's 19 prestigious law schools established by the government to strengthen legal education in the country. The journal is student-edited but follows a peer-review system as well. Noted academics and practitioner such as Shyama Kuriakose and Vivek Joy have been part of our peer review board.
