Additional Information: Forum Prawnicze was created to enrich and diversify public debate on fundamental matters concerning our country and the rule of law. The bimonthly journal-prepared by legal scholars-is designed as a free and open forum for legal debates. It welcomes papers from all representatives of legal doctrine, academia, and legal practice who want to take up issues important not only to Poland, as one of six volumes each year is entirely in English. Every article in Polish is accompanied by an English summary. The journal serves to address legal challenges faced by Polish society as well as it takes on Poland's place in the European and international community. For last ten years we are concerned about stimulating debates of lawyers from Central Europe, in particular from the countries of Visegrad Group. We want to reflect together on how to carve legal solutions following the fundamental values of the Western legal culture, rooted in Roman law, Greek philosophical realism and the Christian tradition. We are concerned about the respect for each person and her or his dignity, the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity and the common good. The Forum is particularly about freedom of speech and freedom of academic research. Although Forum Prawnicze is to be easily accessed by people of all professions and groups, its main audience consists legal scholars, professionals, and students.
