Additional Information: The editorial programme of the ZaoRV includes articles and reports on fundamental as well as topical issues of public international law, foreign and comparative public law, and European law. Public international law is covered in all its aspects. Some of the main subjects treated regularly include peace-keeping and the United Nations, the international protection of human rights, new developments in international economic law, the law of the sea and environmental law, as well as aspects of the law of the European Union and other multi-level systems. Articles on legal theory and legal philosophy in the area of supra-state law are welcome. The spectrum of studies on comparative law emphasizes the public law of the states of the European Union, and also the law of other states. Of special interest is the public law in states under international administration or in other transitional situations. There are annual reports on domestic practice and jurisprudence concerning public international law in the Federal Republic of Germany. Manuscripts to be considered for publication should be sent to the managing editor (also by email to: zaoerv@mpil.de). All manuscripts must be original and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere; they represent the scientific views of the author(s). With the submission of a manuscript the author offers to transfer to the editors the rights of use, including the right of communication to the public (19 a German Copyright Law).
