Additional Information: The Law and Business Review of the Americas was started in 1994 by Professors Joseph J. Norton, George A. Martinez and Jane L. Dolkart, and a Student Editorial staff comprised of four third-year students and four second-year law students. The first issue was published in January 1995. Currently, the journal works closely with its sister international law publication at the SMU School of Law, The International Lawyer. The Law and Business Review of the Americas is an interdisciplinary publication addressing the legal, business, economic, political, and social policy dimensions of the North American Free Trade Agreement, its implementation, its continuing evolution and expansion, and its overall impact on doing business in the Western Hemisphere. The journal is a quarterly publication, co-sponsored by the ABA Section of International Law and Practice, Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law (and its Law Institute of the Americas), with the SMU School of Business, the SMU Departments of Economics and Political Science, and the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London).
