Additional Information: The Maine Law Review is published twice annually by the students of the University of Maine School of Law. The Law Review publishes articles by judges, professors, and practitioners, as well as notes and comments written by students on current legal problems.
The Law Review provides students with an invaluable two-year research and writing experience that allows each to explore in-depth a legal issue of particular interest. Recent editions have contained student notes examining such diverse issues as supervisor liability for employment discrimination under the Maine Human Rights Act, whether a moratorium on land development constitutes a per se taking of property under the Takings Clause of the United State Constitution, and a business's duty to remove ice and snow from its walkways.
