Additional Information: The Maryland Journal of International Law (MJIL) has a long and prestigious history as a forum for scholarly discourse on a wide range of issues on international and comparative law. Established in 1976 as the International Trade Law Journal, it was known as the Maryland Journal of International Law & Trade from 1984 until 1999. It resumed publication in 2009 under its current title.

The journal presents balanced coverage on a broad range of topics related to international and comparative law and welcomes contributions from experts in the field, including academicians, practitioners, and politicians. Articles and notes written by students are also accepted.

Since 2009, the journal has published articles from annual Symposia on different aspects of international and/or comparative law.
