Consolidation of laws on compensation, pension, administration, hospital and burial benefits, barring payment of pension to veterans imprisoned for more than 60 days, restricting payments to beneficiaries of certain veterans. Hearing before a special subcommittee of the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, House of Representatives, Eighty fifth Congress, first session, on H.R. 53, to consolidate into one act, and to simplify and make more uniform, the laws administered by the Veterans' Administration relating to compensation, pension, hospitalization, and burial benefits, and to consolidate into one act the laws pertaining to the administration of the laws administered by the Veterans' Administration; H.R. 71, prohibiting the payment of pensions to persons confined for longer than 60 days; and H.R. 72, to regulate the disposition of certain benefits which are unpaid at the time of death of intended beneficiary.
