Suspending the provisions of Public Vessels Act of 1925 until twelve months after the termination of the war. Hearing[s] before the Committee on Naval Affairs, United States Senate, Seventy eighth Congress, first and second sessions on S. 1173, a bill to suspend, as respects vessels of the Navy or in the naval service, certain provisions of the act approved March 3, 1925, authorizing suits against the United States in admiralty for damage caused by and salvage services rendered to public vessels of the United States, and to authorize the secretary of the Navy to settle and pay claims for damages caused by vessels of the Navy or in the naval service, or for towage and salvage services to such vessels, and for other purposes.
