Railway Bond Refunding. Hearings before the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, House of Representatives, Sixty ninth Congress, first session, on H.R. 8708, a bill to authorize the refunding of evidences of indebtedness heretofore issued by a carrier in interstate commerce under the provisions of an Act to provide for the operation of transportation systems while under Federal control, for the just compensation of their owners, and for other purposes, approved March 21, 1918, as amended by an Act approved March 2, 1919, or under the provisions of section 207 of the of the Transportation act, 1920, or of section 210 of said Act as amended by an Act approved June 5, 1920, and the reduction and fixing of the rate of interest to be paid by such carriers upon said notes or other evidences of indebtedness.
