Additional Information: The Admiralty Record was first published in 2014, and is an annual publication that reports the admiralty and maritime law opinions issued by the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Courts of Appeals (collectively the "federal appellate courts") that are designated for publication during a particular calendar year beginning with those opinions issued during 2013. The mission of the Admiralty Record is to provide the admiralty and maritime law practitioner, professor, student, or others interested in admiralty and maritime law with one annual book that contains all of the precedential admiralty and maritime law opinions issued by the federal appellate courts during the previous calendar year. Attorney Kirk N. Aurandt prepares all facets of the Admiralty Record after examining all of the opinions issued by the federal appellate courts during a particular calendar year that are designated for publication and selecting relevant opinions to include in the Admiralty Record for that calendar year. Each volume contains a Table of Contents listing all of the opinions reported. Each volume also contains a Table of Cases and a Table of Statutes and Rules that provide pinpoint citations to all cases, statutes, and rules cited in each opinion. Finally, each volume contains a subject matter index to assist the reader in finding cases involving a particular subject matter.
