Additional Information for Immigration and Nationality Law Review
The Immigration and Nationality Law Review (INLR) is a nationally recognized annual journal published by William S. Hein & Co. Created in 1981, the Review was originally a reprint journal, republishing the best law review articles on immigration and nationality as well as legislative summaries and a included limited number of original contributions from immigration scholars. While primarily focused on immigration law, which seeks to define who may enter and reside in a country, the INLR incorporates subject matter well beyond immigration. In particular, the INLR addresses issues of nationality, which considers the formal relationship between a citizen of a nation and the nation itself. Since immigration and nationality work together to delineate citizenship and residency, they play an important part in the ongoing dialogue regarding national identity. Moreover, immigration and nationality frequently implicate issues regarding race, gender and class. For several years, various immigration scholars were responsible for editing the INLR.

In 1998, the INLR moved from the Western New England College of Law to its current home at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. The Review has substantially expanded to include student casenotes, comments, book reviews, and essays. Second and third year law students are responsible for coordinating the production of the Review under the guidance of Emily Houh, the INLR's faculty advisor.
