Additional Information for Virginia Environmental Law Journal
The Virginia Environmental Law Journal (VELJ), founded in 1979, is a national leader in environmental legal scholarship. VELJ selects and publishes articles, notes, comments and essays from professors, practitioners and students that focus on local, regional, national and international issues of environmental, land use and natural resources law.

VELJ is published three times per year by thirty to forty committed student volunteers at the University of Virginia School of Law. By becoming involved in the publication process, VELJ members enhance their leadership, organizational, analytical and writing skills. VELJ also holds an annual symposium, which focuses on timely and interesting environmental law or land use topics.
