Additional Information for Widener Commonwealth Law Review
The Widener Law Journal serves as the law review for Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg Campus. The Journal was first published in 1992 as the Widener Journal of Public Law with a concentration in articles that pertained to public law. Recently, in 2002, the Journal changed its name to the Widener Law Journal and expanded its focus in order create a general law review that would encompass all areas of the law, thus serving a wider audience. The Journal's growth over the past twelve years has resulted in the publication of quality articles covering a wide array of topics in the law, including articles on constitutional law, civil and criminal law, professional ethics, administrative law, commercial law, and other cutting-edge developments in the law.

The Journal is published three times a year and is edited exclusively by the top students at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. The first issue typically contains articles authored by law professors, attorneys, and other legal professionals who have a wide range of scholarly as well as practical insights into the law. Student-authored notes and comments are also found in this issue. The second issue is the Annual Survey of Pennsylvania Administrative Law, containing student-written surveys on Pennsylvania court decisions which have a significant impact on administrative law. With the publication of the Annual Survey issue, the Journal is the only law review in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania specifically focusing on administrative law. The Journal also publishes a collection of symposium papers in conjunction with an annual symposium sponsored by the Journal, the topic of which usually relates to Widener's Law and Government Program.
