This is an updated edition of item 346060 (AALL PublicationSeries No. 24). This 2012 edition of the Library of Congressclassification schedule will be updated quarterly toincorporate changes contained in the Weekly Lists. This workwill save catalogers a great deal of time both in findingand assigning classification numbers to law material. Anumber of enhancements to the original LC classificationschedule are included, such as adding Weekly List numbers toalert catalogers as to when a number or topic was added tothe schedule, and also adding hierarchy-level superscripttags which precede each classification topic line to helpcatalogers quickly spot the topic/subtopicinterrelationships of the classification scheme.
