This 2009 edition of the Library of Congress classificationschedule is updated quarterly to incorporate changescontained in the Weekly Lists. This work will savecatalogers a great deal of time both in finding andassigning classification numbers to law material. A numberof enhancements to the original LC classification scheduleare included, such as adding Weekly List numbers to alertcatalogers as to when a number or topic was added to theschedule, and also adding hierarchy-level superscript tagswhich precede each classification topic line to helpcatalogers quickly spot the topic/subtopicinterrelationships of the classification scheme.
