HEINONLINE LEGAL L.C. SUBJECT HEADING LISTS

Legal L.C. Subject Headings Lists (LLCSHL) contains a selection of subject headings from the lists posted by the Library of Congress Policy and Standards Division. LLCSHL provides quarterly cumulations of the selected subject headings arranged in a single alphabetical order. In addition to the obvious advantage of only one alphabetical list to consult for each year, every entry new to the quarterly cumulation is indicated with an asterisk and thus acts as a current awareness tool. This feature should be useful to public service librarians as well as catalogers.The original L.C. list number is added in brackets following the subject headings as a convenience, in case the user should need to consult the original.
