It aims to contribute to an appreciation of the contributions made by families to the flourishing of individuals and of societies and to promote a deeper understanding of the principles upon which families are based and of the standards of law and the governmental policies through which family life can be recognized and promoted. It includes scholarly articles which reflect a variety of cultures, legal systems,religions and schools of jurisprudence. The online library will provide access to each new article as soon as it becomes available as well as to historical and background works and links to other material of interest to the researcher of the jurisprudence of the family.
