Tip of the Month
Have you tried an Advanced Search in the Law Journal Library? Click on the Advanced Search link located beneath the main search bar from anywhere within the database. Use various metadata fields, such as Text, Article Title, Author/Creator, and more.
For example, to search for articles by President Biden that pertain to election financing, enter Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in the Author/Creatorfield. In the Text field, enter the words election AND financ*, using capital letters for the Boolean operator (AND). The wildcard (*) searches for variations of a word—in this case, “finance,” “financing,” etc.
Additional options in the Advanced Search tool include searching by article topic, by publication citation or title, date range selection, and section type selection.
