New Journals Added to HeinOnline: December 2022

With the December content release, we added 12 new journals, 10 of which are active serials. As the year is coming to an end, we are happy to report that we have added nearly 130 new journals in 2022! Keep reading to learn about our latest additions.


1. Baltic Journal of Law and Politics

Baltic Journal of Law & Politics (BJLP) is a scholarly journal published bi-annually as a joint publication of the Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy and the Faculty of Law of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania). BJLP provides a platform for the publication of scientific research in the fields of law and politics, with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary research that cuts across these traditional categories. Topics may include, but are not limited to, the Baltic Region; research into issues of comparative or general theoretical significance is also encouraged. BJLP is peer-reviewed and published in English.

FDLI Update is FDLI’s quarterly member magazine that provides reporting and analysis on trends in food and drug law and FDLI news. FDLI’s scope covers all industries regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and related agencies and authorities in the U.S. and globally, including drugs, medical devices, biologics, food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, veterinary, tobacco, and cannabis-derived products. 


3. Institutiones Administrationis – Journal of Administrative Sciences

Institutiones Administrationis – Journal of Administrative Sciences (IAJAS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal on public administration, public law, and political science broadly considered. IAJAS publishes articles on all facets of public administration, public law, constitutional law, public policy, public management, and fiscal administration both within Central and Eastern Europe and within other parts of the globe. The journal is intended for scholars working in the fields of public administration, public law, public policy, and political sciences.


4. Journal of Islamic Law

Subjects: Islamic Law, Religion and the Law, Legal History, Gender and the Law

The Journal of Islamic Law is a peer-reviewed online journal that features new scholarship in Islamic legal studies. Focusing on historical, comparative, and law and society approaches to Islamic law, they also have a keen interest in featuring data science tools and primary sources that inform the scholarly analysis.


5. Law and Administration in Post-Soviet Europe

Law and Administration in Post-Soviet Europe is a series of monographs on law and public administration in Europe since 1989. Post-communist countries had to enter the rough path to rebuild the foundations of political, social, economic, cultural, etc. fields of life. Law seems to be one of the most significant, yet at the same time difficult, fields in which changes take place. The journal’s aim is to present analysis of legal changes and experiences of different Central and Eastern European countries since 1989.

Law, Crime and History is an open-access journal that recognizes that global public consciousness in the law and its impact on daily lives has reached unprecedented levels. It will appeal not just to academics, but also to policy makers, practitioners, and an interested lay readership. This journal seeks to publish material of interest to both the specialist and the non specialist in law, crime, and history. It aims to reflect, both in content and in the profile of individuals who write for it, our desire to promote a more global comprehension of the various issues and strategies intrinsic to the study of law, crime, and criminal procedure.


7. Lex Electronica

Lex Electronica is a legal journal with an international vocation. When created, the journal’s objective was to present to lawyers and non-lawyers the impact on technology law of not only information and communication, but also of life and health. When it was launched, it was the first online legal journal in French and one of the first in any language. Today, the journal focuses on the notion of justice, analyzed in a prospective approach and in the spectrum of symbolic values, institutions, and regulation.


8. Nyaayshastra Law Review

Nyaayshastra Law Review is a peer-reviewed online, bi-annual journal that focuses on socio-legal issues and is not limited to any one field or subject of law. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research, which entails a thorough examination of law in conjunction with other disciplines in the modern day.


9. RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR)

Subjects: Business and the Law, Banking and Finance Law, Investment, Bankruptcy

The RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR) is a bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed law journal published by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The journal was first published in the year 2014 and gives an opportunity to the legal academia, legal professionals, and law students to contribute cutting-edge, doctrinal, theoretical, and empirical research in the field of business and commercial laws.


10. Zbornik Radova Pravnog Fakulteta u Tuzli (Proceedings of the Faculty of Law in Tuzla) 

Vols. 1-8#1 (2015-2022)

Published by University of Tuzla, Faculty of Law

Subjects: Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Human Rights Law

Zbornik Radova Pravnog Fakulteta u Tuzli (Proceedings of the Faculty of Law in Tuzla) is a scientific journal designed as a meeting place for domestic and foreign researchers in various scientific fields of law, such as public and international law, civil law, criminal law, administrative law, comparative legal history, and other related legal disciplines. Authors are encouraged to submit the results of their research regardless of whether they are related to the national law of a country or treat certain topics in the field of comparative, supranational, or international law. The journal also publishes papers from other social sciences (sociology, economics, political science, history, and others) which are studied as separate courses in law studies.
