Law and Human Behavior, the official journal of APA Division 41 (American Psychology-Law Society), is a multidisciplinary forum for empirical manuscripts examining the interface between human behavior and the law, the criminal justice and legal system, and the legal process. The journal publishes original, theory-driven, quantitative and qualitative research from a variety of fields, including law, psychology, psychiatry, criminal justice, political science, sociology, education, and communication.


3. Prudentia Iuris

Prudentia Iuris is a biannual journal of the School of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina “Santa Maria de los Buenos Aires,” which is aimed at developing a framework of legal thinking consistent with the basic principles of justice and natural order, illuminated by faith. The journal covers the following fields: philosophy of law (natural law, legal theory, legal principles and concepts); public law (constitutional, administrative, labor and employment, social security); private law (civil and business law); history of law; canon law; and comparative law.


4. IIUM Law Journal

IIUM Law Journal is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, published twice a year (June and December), with a dedicated mission of publishing original works that are based on high-quality research. The journal accepts legal research papers on law reform, issues relating to the application of the law in practice, comparative legal analysis, and the harmonization of Islamic law and civil law.

The Journal considers three types of contributions: articles reporting findings of original research; case notes analyzing current and landmark decisions of domestic and international courts and tribunals; and book reviews commenting on recently published law books.

State Crime is the first peer-reviewed, international journal that seeks to disseminate leading research on the illicit practices of states. The concept of state crime is not confined to legally recognized states but can include any authority that exerts political and military control over a substantial territory (e.g. the FARC). The journal’s focus is a reflection of the growing awareness within criminology that state criminality is endemic and acts as a significant barrier to security and development. Contributions from a variety of disciplinary and theoretical perspectives are welcomed. Topics covered by the journal include torture; genocide and other forms of government and politically organized mass killing; war crimes; state-corporate crime; state-organized crime; natural disasters exacerbated by government (in)action; asylum and refugee policy and practice; state terror; political and economic corruption; and resistance to state violence and corruption.


7. Alternative Dispute Resolution Yearbook

Scientific journal Alternative Dispute Resolution Yearbook, published by the oldest university in Georgia and also in the Caucasus region—Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University—is the only specialized bilingual, blind peer-reviewed journal in ADR throughout the country. The journal was founded in 2012 and comprises the main research series about contemporary ADR institutes since legislative institutionalization of mediation in Georgia. The journal aims to establish a dynamic scientific platform for comparative research of ADR institutes integrating theory and practice, to expand the Georgian scientific discourse in transnational context (in all areas of ADR—negotiation, mediation, arbitration), to scientifically promote legal approximation of Georgian ADR regulative framework to European and US regulative standards, to foster internationalization of research through comparative legal studies, and to promote institutionalization of Georgian ADR mechanisms, gaining growing importance after legislative reform implemented in 2020.

Psychiatry, Psychology and Law is a peer-reviewed journal with outstanding academic and professional representation on its editorial board. The journal disseminates high-quality information to scholars and professionals working in the areas, or intersections, of psychiatry, psychology, and the law. It aims to keep professionals informed about contemporary research and practice developments in these fields and to facilitate cross-disciplinary debate, collaboration, and communication.

The journal publishes original articles and empirical studies; analyses of professional issues, controversies and developments in these areas; case studies and case commentaries; and book reviews. It invites contributions to research and practice developments in forensic psychiatry, forensic psychology, criminology, behavioral science, civil and criminal mental health law, and related fields. The journal is open, but not limited, to international or cross-jurisdictional comparisons of experiences in the related fields and invites authors to contextualize in depth analyses of specialized topics to readers of various backgrounds. Periodically, one of the annual issues of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law deals with a particular topic in depth. Psychiatry, Psychology and Law is the professional journal of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL). Established in the late 1970s, ANZAPPL is committed to exploring the relationship between the disciplines of psychiatry, psychology and the law.
