New Journals Added to HeinOnline: October & November 2023

Over the past two months, we have added 17 new active serials to our Law Journal Library. These new serials, from esteemed publishers such as Edward Elgar Publishing, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., Hackney Publications, and more, cover subjects including international law, constitutional law, politics, war, human rights law. The CMR University Journal for Contemporary Legal Affairs [Now Listed in UGC-CARE (Group I)] represents an earnest attempt, by all of us at the CMRU School of Legal Studies, to provide and nurture a forum that fosters relevant research in contemporary legal issues. Our objective has been to disseminate legal research by eminent judges, practitioners, academicians, and researchers, exposing the reader to the highest standards of academic excellence. The journal voices the opinions of the writers and inter-alia is a gateway for promoting extensive academic research. The journal has been launched as a realisation of the fact that law schools have a social responsibility to cater to the well-being of society.


2. Comparative Constitutional Studies

Comparative Constitutional Studies (CCS) is an international journal for comparative public law scholarship, publishing three issues per year: two general issues, and one special issue on a specific topic or theme. ‘Constitutional Studies’ is conceived broadly to include constitutional and administrative law scholarship that advances the study of key issues and questions within the field through examining experiences and perspectives from a range of different jurisdictions. Contributions could involve, for example, a detailed study of a practice from a single country that seeks to draw lessons for other countries, or a set of case studies from different countries that seeks to examine similarities and differences with respect to how a particular practice has been developed in a variety of constitutional systems.

CCS aims to facilitate global engagement, collaboration, and debate among public law scholars from diverse legal and intellectual traditions. It has a diverse international editorial board comprised of leading academics and jurists and seeks to promote innovative research on topics, perspectives, and research methods that are underrepresented in the field. CCS has a broad disciplinary focus and welcomes legal and interdisciplinary scholarship. All submissions are double-blind peer-reviewed.


3. International Journal of Law in Changing World

The International Journal of Law in Changing World (The IJLCW) (ISSN 2764-6068) is an independent, international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles on contemporary topics related to transforming law. Several overlapping perspectives on these issues exist in the multi-layered context of the 21st century. The IJLCW was created to show these perspectives and find the solutions to the legal issues that arise from the constantly changing world.


4. Journal of Personal Data Protection Law

Journal of Personal Data Protection Law is a bilingual, international scientific publication of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia. Its establishment marks the fourth anniversary of the adoption of the EU “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDPR). The Journal‘s primary focus is conducting comparative legal discourse on public law and creating a scholarly forum for researchers. The Journal publishes scientific papers in the field of fundamental human rights and freedoms, especially in the area of personal data protection law, and aims to provide legal analysis of pressing issues to highlight best practices and raise public awareness.

The aim of the journal is to provide readers and students of political science and international relations with articles, review articles, and policy papers on themes of contemporary domestic, regional, and international issues with particular reference to Pakistan’s politics, society, and culture.

Jurnal HAM is a nationally accredited journal publishing manuscripts in the field of human rights. For over a decade, Jurnal HAM has been the leading scientific publication in Indonesia focusing on human rights studies. It encompasses rights-oriented analysis, law, and policy debates, case studies and other empirical findings related to human rights and freedom, theoretical views of human rights, and diverse methods in human rights study. It welcomes studies from various disciplines and approaches that raise awareness toward marginalized and underrepresented minority groups in Indonesia and beyond. All editorial/review policies and processes are committed to inclusivity. Jurnal HAM is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal. The review is conducted under a double-blind peer-review system.


7. New York International Law Review

The New York International Law Review produces academic literature that contributes to the discourse of international law, connects practitioners worldwide through the passion for justice, and challenges legal professionals to face global issues head on. Together with St. John’s University School of Law, the International Section of the New York State Bar Association publishes The New York International Law Review twice per year and distributes issues to Section Members free of charge.

NIL Institutional Report is a bi-monthly publication produced by Hackney Publications and its partner LEAD1 Association, delivering insights about the NIL movement to the nation’s largest athletic departments.
