Do you find yourself browsing through full volumes in the Session Laws Library to locate a specific chapter, act, or page? HeinOnline’s general indexing coverage of the session laws is from inception to current. Use the Session Laws Quick Locator tool to save time and energy! Today’s blog will explore how to utilize this advantageous tool, as well as provide an update to the Session Laws indexing project.
Using the Quick Locator Tool
Users can find the Session Laws Quick Locator Tool on the landing page of the Session Laws Library. From here, simply select a state, year, chapter/act, or page from the tool provided.
Alternatively, this tool can be found on each individual state’s landing page. For example, let’s take a look at the state of Michigan. The tool looks slightly different once you are on a specific state’s landing page because you no longer have to select a state.
Now let’s see this tool in action! Let’s locate Act 104 from the year 1935 for the state of Michigan. Plug this information into the Session Laws Quick Locator tool.
Once users click the search button, they will be redirected to the exact page that Act 104 begins on.
