Cuadernos de Gibraltar – Gibraltar Reports

Vols. 1-2 (2015-2019)

Universidad de Cadiz

This journal is based on the planned and continuous teamwork of the Area of Public International Law and International Relations and the Jean Monnet Chair “Immigration and Borders” of Cadiz, which has received important institutional support in its continued work.

Since 2002, the Cadiz team has been dealing with and following the issue of Gibraltar and cross-border cooperation with the Campo de Gibraltar, with a focus on international and European law. In turn, this subject is framed within the lines of research of the Research Group and Team, dedicated to the analysis of the international legal issues and problems of the Strait Area, including those issues of sovereignty, borders, cross-border cooperation, and immigration issues.

The “Gibraltar question” deserved a periodical publication that, from the academic world, dealt with subjects linked to the controversy. Published annually, this journal analyzes latent or existing problems and conflicts, and provides the relevant documentation that is constantly arising from this historical disagreement between the British, Spanish, and Gibraltarians. Convinced of the need for channels of dialogue and cooperation, the publication hopes to make a small and humble contribution to a better understanding of the legal, institutional, and social issues that the problem of Gibraltar poses to States and citizens on a daily basis, on both sides of the fence.

Feminist Criminology

Full Text: Vols. 1-11 (2006-2016)
Indexed: Vols. 1-15#2 (2006-2020)

SAGE Publications

Feminist Criminology is an innovative journal that is dedicated to research related to women, girls, and crime within the context of a feminist critique of criminology. Published five times a year as the official journal of the Division on Women and Crime of the American Society of Criminology, this international publication focuses on research and theory that highlights the gendered nature of crime.

The feminist critique of criminology incorporates a perspective that the paths to crime differ for males and females. Therefore, research that uses sex as a control variable often fails to illuminate the factors that predict female criminology. This journal provides a venue for articles that place women in the center of the research question, answering different questions than the mainstream approach of controlling for sex. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodology, Feminist Criminology features research on insightful topics, including: race, ethnicity, and gender diversity in the study of women and crime; cross-cultural and international perspectives on women and crime; girls and women as victims; women working in the criminal justice profession; and much more.
